Robert P. Trask - President / Chief Executive Officer
Robert P. Trask, has served as our president and chief executive officer since the Bank’s opening in 2006. He is a native of Beaufort and has lived in southern Beaufort County since 1989. His 21 years of commercial bank experience are concentrated in the coastal communities of Charleston, Beaufort, Hilton Head Island and Bluffton, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia. He earned a bachelors degree in financial management from Clemson University and a masters degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina. Mr. Trask serves as Chair of the Technical College of the Lowcountry Foundation, Inc. Mr. Trask also serves as Chair of South Carolina Bankers Association’s Community Bankers Council. Mr. Trask is a fellow of the Liberty Fellowship Class of 2009.
Michelle M. Pennell - Chief Financial Officer
Michelle M. Pennell, is our chief financial officer and executive vice president. Ms. Pennell has been a resident of the low country area for over 17 years. She earned her bachelor of business administration degree in finance from James Madison University in Virginia, graduating magna cum laude. She joined the Bank in January 2006 and was promoted to her current position in May 2006. She served as the Vice President and Treasurer of Atlantic Savings Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wachovia Corporation, on Hilton Head Island for over seven years, from 1991 to 1998. In addition, Ms. Pennell has substantial experience in many levels of accounting and finance across the hotel/restaurant, retail and non-profit sectors. Ms. Pennell has participated in a variety of leadership positions in community organizations over the years. She is a graduate of Hilton Head Island/Bluffton Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program.
Todd D. Hoke - Chief Credit Officer
Todd D. Hoke, has served as the Bank’s chief credit officer and executive vice president since the Bank’s opening in 2006. From 2004 to 2005, he was the Vice President of Commercial Lending for the Hilton Head Island branch of Carolina First charged with managing a substantial commercial loan portfolio. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Vice President for the Bluffton branch of BB&T. Mr. Hoke began his employment with BB&T in 1999 and his responsibilities included establishing infrastructure and developing business for BB&T’s de novo Bluffton branch. From 1996 to 1999, Mr. Hoke was employed by the Wachovia Corporation in Hilton Head Island starting as a commercial credit analyst and was promoted to commercial lender. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. He is also a graduate of the Risk Management Association’s Advanced Commercial Lending School. Mr. Hoke has been a resident of the low country area for over 15 years. He is a graduate of Hilton Head Island/Bluffton Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program. Mr. Hoke is also the Treasurer for the Hilton Head Island Business Network International chapter.
Karen B Sprague - Chief Operations Officer
Karen B. Sprague, is our chief operations officer and executive vice president. Ms. Sprague has been a resident of the low country area since 1993. Ms. Sprague joined the Bank in September 2005 during its formation phase. Prior to that, she served as Branch Manager of the Hilton Head Island branch of First Federal from 2001 to 2005. From 1993 to 2005, Ms. Sprague served Liberty Savings Bank in various capacities ending as Assistant Vice President and Sales Manager. Ms. Sprague earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from The College of Wooster in Ohio. She is past President of the Zonta Club of Hilton Head Island. She currently serves on the South Carolina Bankers Association Disaster Recovery Committee and is Chairman of the Bluffton High School Career and Technology Committee. Ms. Sprague is a graduate of Hilton Head Island/Bluffton Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program.
Wendy Yeager - Vice President, Relationship Banker and Sales Manager
Wendy is our Vice President and Sales Manager. She has lived in Bluffton for 30 + years. Her banking career began in 1990 and includes experience in mortgage origination, consumer lending, branch management, multiple-branch management, retail and business banking. She is involved in the Bluffton Hardeeville Business Council and is a graduate of the Hilton Head Island / Bluffton Chamber of Commerce Leadership program.
Becky Conn - Vice President, Senior Account Executive
Becky is our Vice President and Senior Account Executive. She has been a Bluffton resident since 2000 and has worked in the banking industry since 2002. Becky is a graduate of Penn State University. She has an extensive knowledge of retail banking and both commercial and consumer lending. She is currently President of the Zonta Club of Bluffton. She has been named Best Financial Advisor in Bluffton for 2008.
Grant Dybdahl - Assistant Vice President, Loan Administration Officer
Grant is an Assistant Vice President and Loan Administration Officer. He has been in commercial banking since 2002. He brings an extensive knowledge of credit analysis and loan underwriting as well as commercial lending to ACB. Grant earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Grant is a member of the Rotary Club of Hilton Head Island and the Hilton Head Island Hospitality Assocation.
Jenis Girolamo - District Branch Manager
Jenis is the District Branch Manager and is responsible for the oversight of both our branch locations. She earned an Associate’s Degree in Business and has been in banking since 1999. Jenis moved back to the Lowcountry in 2002. She volunteers her time at the Bluffton Elementary School.
Maggie Little - Community Banking Specialist & Senior Teller
Maggie is a Community Banking Specialist and the Senior Teller at our Sheridan Park Branch in Bluffton. She comes to the Lowcountry from York, PA. She has a Bachelor Degree in Interior Design and has most recently worked as a Design Assistant at Kitchen and Bath Design Center on Hilton Head Island.
Judy Bussius - Community Banking Specialist
Judy is a Community Banking Specialist at the Sheridan Park Branch in Bluffton. She relocated to the Bluffton area from Rhode Island in 2005. Prior to joining ACB Judy was a teller with a long standing credit union in Rhode Island.
Silvina Landen - Community Banking Specialist
Silvina is a part time community banking specialist at our Sheridan Park Branch. She moved to the Low country from Argentina in 2001 She has prior customer service experience. In her spare time she volunteers with Second Helpings and United Way.
Shannon Harmon - Community Banking Specialist
Shannon is a Community Banking Specialist at our Bluffton branch. She has lived in the Low Country her whole life. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree form the University of South Carolina in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Shannon brings prior administrative and customer service skills to Atlantic Community Bank.
Angie Harting - Community Banking Specialist
Angie comes to us from Hockessin, Delaware. She has been living in the Low Country since 2009. She is a resident of Sun City and is very involved in the community. Angie received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Wesley College.
Marla Nasuti - Business Services Operations Officer
Marla is our Business Services Operations Officer. She has lived in Bluffton and Hilton Head Island since 1986. She brings to Atlantic Community Bank 20 + years of banking experience. She is involved in fund raising efforts for March of Dimes and the American Cancer Society.
Amanda Morgan - Loan Operations Assistant
Amanda is our Loan Operations Assisant. She has been a resident of the Lowcountry since 1997. Amanda brings prior loan processing experience to Atlantic Community Bank. She is a graduate of Hilton Head High School. She gives back to our community by being a Girl Scout Leader.
Cathy Harding – Controller
Cathy is our Controller. She has been a Bluffton resident since 1999. She has worked in the banking industry since 2000. Cathy brings prior community banking experience to ACB, particularly in the field of accounting. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Judson College in Elgin, Illinois
Tonya Chittum - Staff Accountant
Tonya is our Staff Accountant. She has been a Bluffton resident since 1981. She has worked in the banking industry in Bluffton and Hilton Head Island since 2001. Most recently she was a Head Teller. Tonya brings prior knowledge of bank operations to Atlantic Community Bank. She is a graduate of Hilton Head High School.
Diane McMaster - Deposit Operations Manager
Diane is our Deposit Operations Manager. She has worked for community banks in the past in their accounting and marketing departments. She moved to the Lowcountry in 2008 from Roanoke, Virginia. She earned her Bachelors degree from West Virginia University, earned an accounting degree from Virginia Western and earned a paralegal degree from Marshall University.
Judy G. Hinds - Operations and Compliance Assistant
Judy Hinds is our Operations and Compliance assistant. She came to the Lowcountry from Richmond, VA in 2005. Judy brings a wealth of knowledge to our ACB team gained from 37 years of prior community banking experience. Her experience includes: bank manager, sales leader, teller school instructor, and loan administration and origination.
